Scottish artist landscapes, Equestrian & Chinese paintings in oils and brush drawings
Terry
Barron Kirkwood graduated at Glasgow school of Art in 1971, renowned for her paintings
of modern landscapes, esquestrian and cats working with the medium of oils and
brush drawings on hand made rag paper.
Her fascination for the different cultures of the world, lead to the body of work for her Chinese paintings inspired during her visit to Hong King in 1997, with the hand-over of Hong Kong to China. She captures the dreams and celebration for the future of the people of Hong Kong.
Exhibited mainly in the UK, Harrods gallery London; the Royal Scottish academy; the Royal Glasgow institute of the Fine Arts and the Leith Gallery; the Forbes Gallery New York USA.
Her
collectors include private and corporate companies including the Highland Distillers
and the Duke and Duchess of Richmond at Goodwood.
